The following two foundations are available vehicles for donating to the Optimist International Organization and our local Monroe Morning Optimist Club.
1. Optimist International Foundation
This foundation helps Optimist Clubs financially support the following programs in our local communities.
- Essay Contest - $2500 scholarship to each District. (Awarded to the student winner)
- Oratorical Contest - $5000 scholarship to each District (Awarded to the student winner)
- Communication Contest for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CCDHH) - $2500 scholarship to each District. (Awarded to the student winner)
- Childhood Health and Wellness grants.
- Supports Junior Optimist International program.
There are various ways for members to contribute/support the International Foundation.
- Dime-a-Day $36.50/year
- Women’s Philanthropy Council $100.00/year
- Presidents Club $250.00/year
- Friends of today $500.00/year

2. The Monroe Morning Optimist Club Fund was created on January 28th, 2011 through the Community Foundation of Southern Wisconsin. This fund was established for members or friends of the Monroe Morning Optimist Club who wanted to make a tax-deductible donation to the club. The fund is also a way to honor or memorialize members.
